My passion for the culinary arts started when I was a child. During elementary school I often experimented in the kitchen by creating concoctions with whatever ingredients and equipment I found lying around my family kitchen. I helped my parents with the planning, preparation, setting up, serving, and cleaning up for dinner parties. It is a joy to cook for people, to make them happy, and see the expression on their face through the dishes I create. I am intrigued by the various programs on television cooking networks. I enjoy reading cooking magazines and recipe books. To me, being involved with the culinary arts is an ongoing learning process.
